Gamma radiation damage to my exterior neck

It should be noted that my reaction to the radiation treatment was severe and that most people will experience much less damage. Many people have little more that a plain red neck. I am at the other extreme. I have recorded videos of the condition of my neck on various dates. My first radiation treatment was on Sept 2, 2010. 7000 gy for 35 daily treatments (except weekends).
This was pretty much as bad as it got. The string is to keep my PEG tube from flopping around.

Below are 3 videos that show the progression of the damage

Near the middle

This is about as bad as it got.

Saturday, December 18, 2010 - 7 weeks 4 days after the last radiation treatment

474 days later

February 11, 1012 (today) is 474 days since my last radiation treatment. As you can see from this video my neck and voice are much improved.

It does look like shaving my neck is something that I may never have to do again. I guess I should be thankful for the small perks when they come along.
